One of the best reasons to look forward to Fall is the start of football season! For residents of Texas, we are lucky enough to root on 2 NFL teams; Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans. If you want a rundown of what we’ve seen so far and what these two teams bring to the game, check out our analysis of the Cowboys and Texans below.

Dallas Cowboys

It’s a new year and the Dallas Cowboys hope to redeem themselves after the miserable season they had in 2015. The Dallas Cowboys have one of the best offensive lines in football and do a great job protecting the quarterback and running back. Tony Romo is still injured but new quarterback and rookie sensation, Dak Prescott, is keeping the hope alive for the Cowboys! Prescott is playing well beyond his years and has won more games than the quarterbacks who replaced Romo last year. Now that Prescott is getting more comfortable on the field, we can only hope that he continues his winning streak.

Houston Texans

The Houston Texans started out the season strong but since losing against the Patriots, they have been tugging at the heartstrings of Texans fans. Since all pro defensive JJ Watt was placed on injured reserve because of a back injury, he could be out for the entire season. The Texans are currently relying on their new quarterback, Brock Osweiler, to pull off a win. Besides a win against the Chicago Bears, this season isn’t looking too promising for the Texans.
